About Us

Climate Resilience Aligning Peace Building - Somalia is a nonprofit youth-led organization that focuses on climate change actions for sustainable while ensuring environmental sustainability through conservation and improvement of livelihoods in south central communities. RECAPs inaugurated in 2021 is therefore committed to provide programs answering the community's basic demands that relevant on the context of climate challenge impacts. It also responds to the adaptation principles basing facts on the six ways to build resilience to climate change in accordance with the purpose of RECAPs inception and its existence, anyone can join to help out find mitigate measure to end climate impacts in aforementioned regions. RECAPs serve pathway to educate society on climate change actions. Learning from the repeated escalation of floodings and prolonged missing patterns of rainfall that endangered the socio-economic way of lives of the Somali community by and large. RECAPs is ultimately designed to reach out rural people and promote access to disaster risk reductions as well as mitigations fostering safety of lives. The organization works with the community. It has office in Mogadishu Somalia.
